"Desire"
"In our Materialistic Life we usually have two kinds of
desires, one belong to our Natural Needs of our being and second one sprouts,
out of comparison.
When our needs get suppressed due to any reason then we always
tend to think to fulfill our need every moment. That's why our needs convert into desires by the repetition of
thinking and come with us in our next life cycles too.
To eliminate such type of tendency of generating desires, we
must choose to spend Need Based life only. If we feel that our needs can be fulfilled then, it is good,
otherwise we must diminish the intensity of that particular need by adopting
some options.
Or we must avert out mind to somewhere by invoking 'Samadhan'
(Solution) into our Consciousness instead of suffering from fulfillment of that
need.
For example, if we are hungry, and we want to eat 'Rice' but
rice are not available, then we should eat something else like noodles or Bread
or Fruits etc. to quench out appetite.
On the contrary, if we choose to stay hungry in the hope of eating
Rice for few days. Then such an Un-Quenched-Hunger might take the form of intense
desire and create trouble for us by converting into the frequent flow of the
thoughts of having rice.
Or by chance if we suddenly die and we could not take birth for
few months then we will try to find some one's company who is very fond of
eating Rice."
