This trekking prog. was organised by Association for Adventurous Activities, Meerut, this was a very beautiful trekking, we enjoyed the scenic beauty of Gangotri, Gaumukh (12800') and Tapovan (14500') and experienced the thrill during exploration. The Sacred River 'Bhagirathi' has originated from Gaumukh which becomes 'Ganges' at Dev Prayag by merging into two other river e.i Mandakini and Alaknanda.

At Tapovan:---We stayed into the 'Hut' of 'Shimla Baba' to over come deteriorated temperature that might be below --5 degree Celsius.
