Mountain & Meditation (Pics.)----13, Advance Course of Mountaineering April-May 1986

This course was conducted by 'The Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Uttranchal, was very interesting and thrilling for me which game me a very good exposer of height gaining as well as climbing techniques. In the last 10 days of the course, we were given a chance to attempt Mt. Kedar Dome (22000 ft. Aprox.), though we could not climbed the peak due to bad weather but we had a marvellous experience.

 Set out for the Climb Peak Kedar Dome around 4 O clock in the morning.

 Preparing water out of snow, we can get 40% water from snow.

  1. Hi, for someone fit, and with the help of a guide and porter trained at NIM is it possible to cross bhagirathi at any place between gomukh and bhojwasa? Is it too risky?
