Mountain & Meditation(Pics)----21-----2nd Indo-Soviet, Peak Expedition to Mt.Nanda Devi East(25000ft Approx), 1991

This was our IInd Indo-Soviet Peak Expedition ( First was in 1989 to Mt. Communism, Pamir and Mt. Albruze,) which got success, though it was very difficult to climb but it gave us a very good experience of climbing in a deteriorated weather condition.

 Long Stuff Col---Our Second Camp (18500ft), there is hardly a 25 feet long ridge for pitching two tents, one side Nanda Devi Centuary and on the other Side our Base Camp. Route to Camp Three & Four is visible following the edge of the mountain.

 Rock Band more then 800 ft Long  comes just after Camp First to reach Long Stuff Col, is very risky and dangerous, we have to fix rope on the whole climb of Rock Band.
